Loved it!

Graphics- Great lip-syncing, and I especially liked the eyes.
Style- A new and original style, and an awesome one at that.
Sound- Did Jerma do the voice-acting? That guy's a genius. Again, there was good lip-syncing to go with it.
Humor- It was short, but it gave me a good laugh.

I haven't any constructive advice to give you, so just keep working on it once you've got your new tablet. I've been waiting for it for almost two years now >.<

Blordow responds:

Yep Jerma is the man. i really need a tablet loool

:)

Gave me multiple lolgasms. I've tried sprite animation in the past, and I must say it's the easiest style to do. Even stick movies are harder to make (if there's effort put into them and they're done with proper FBF). All it takes to make sprite movies is a ton of movie clips or graphics that contain Google image-searched sprites and tweening them all over the place. Kudos to you for making this Flash.

Blordow responds:

yeah exactly ehheh

Sorry, didn't quite do it for me

You've got potential, just try and focus it on better and longer Flashes. The lip syncing wasn't bad, but a lot of the graphics could use plenty improvement. Just keep at it, and I'm sure you'll get better.

Leet-Productions responds:

Thanks for the review Irk, I'll try harder!

Nothing short of a bad movie

Let's leave a good critisizing review, shall we?

Graphics: Mostly they (the sprites) were overtweened and blurry, so I didn't really notice any true pixelated glory. You may want to try your hand at drawn movies for a few months before coming back to collaborations, so as to make sure you have a good sense of quality work.

Style: Style? I'm sorry to say this, but sprites are overused. Sure, there are a few good spriters out there, but unfortunately you haven't yet reached their standards.

Sound: You actually did OK finding sounds here, so it seems I won't be able to give much critisism on the subject. You may, however, want to add a little more variation to the sounds rather than "OWOWOW" and other such generic sprite sounds.

Violence: Well, I must say it was violent, but needlessly so. You may want to add more variation to the fighting and keep us from falling asleep.

Interactivity: Well, you have a menu, preloader, and scene select, but other than that you can't expect much out a movie. Not much critisism to give here...

Humor: Not funny, so you may want to add a little more humor if you plan on getting a higher score in the portal; NGers love humor.

Now if you're displeased with my review, don't go bitching about me not worshipping every little second of this movie. You've got potential, so if you don't give up on your animation, you'll soon be up on the frontpage (well, maybe not TOO soon). Good luck with that, anyway.

LilDwarf responds:

Finally a good critical review. Thanks I'll take keep in mind your advice.

Bad

The FBF was far too unsmooth, it lacked good visuals, and overall it was pretty bad. I think you're gonna need to put a lot more work and effort into your animations and get out of that "i'm only 14 geez i realy wunna mAk teh gud flash moovy!!!" phase. Better luck next time.

TheFunk responds:

Okay, please point out to me where i said anything remotely like:

"i'm only 14 geez i realy wunna mAk teh gud flash moovy!!!"

Please show me, i'd love to see where i said that.

You've got A LOT of potential!

It's a bit short, but it's not bad. And as a word of encouragement, the lip syncing was really well done! Keep up the good work and maybe you'll get frontpage.

JoP responds:

wow thanks man, that's the best review i've ever gotten

Good Job!

The FBF was smooth, the graphics were simple in a cool sort of way, and everything about it was pretty good! Keep it up!

"Error - it's been a very short amount of time since you left your last review. Please put more thought into the reviews you're making. Please go back and try again."

Errrr....not much more I can say, lol. Well, maybe you could use some more colors than just black and white? That's all I can think of...

devilsgarage responds:

Hey you are right! probably my next part will have color
The scene is that the final treatment of the animation is here: http://studentpages.scad.edu/~akarat20/games.mov though originally done in B/W I used quicktime and changed the color to this. I think color would definitely enhance the animation. shall definitely take you word on that

Not bad, but not good either

I'd say this is mediocre. Not good, not bad, but just in the middle. I personally don't recommend using sprites, unless your really good with them. I also think this should be longer. By the way, the Numa Numa Dance is really old now, so I suggest you don't put it in any of your Flashes later on. A lot of people are sick and tired of hearing it just so you know :P. It was a good effort though, and I hope to see more from you in the future.

In-Style-Always responds:

thanks, but havent you seen cb's harry potter dubbs? one of them uses numa numa. from all of my reviews, a lot of people seem to like it cuz of numa numa. but i might not use it in the sequel. i plan to make a strong ending (with action). i agree, this flash is kinda average. i didn't expect to make it green in the portal. but i like sprites and i have really good ones that i cut out from sprite sheets using fireworks 8. but thanks for your review. it really does help.
